This year, your support is part of something truly special. Forty-five years ago, we opened the doors to San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House with just 8 rooms and a simple mission: to keep families together during a child’s medical crisis. Thanks to the kindness of people like you, we’ve grown in ways we could only dream of back then.
Indeed, something remarkable happened this summer: We opened brand-new rooms at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House, expanding from 57 to 82 rooms.
This means 10,000 additional nights of comfort, relief, and hope for families facing long hospital stays—families who might otherwise have nowhere to turn. Even more incredible, this expansion will cut our nightly waitlist in half, giving more families immediate access to a safe place to stay right when they need it most. And there’s still more to come through our Imagine the Moment Campaign.
