5th Annual Red Shoe Day in Imperial Valley
On October 7, more than 200 volunteers will mobilize at 16 key intersections throughout Imperial Valley. We'll be holding out our signature big red shoes to help collect donations and raise awareness about San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House.
Last year alone, the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of San Diego provided care to more than 500 families members from the Imperial Valley, who received over 7,000 nights of lodging. Nearly 25% of the families we host each year come from the Imperial Valley, so this fundraiser is a way to mobilize the Valley to support other residents in need.
How to Participate
Choose an intersection, recruit friends, family members, or coworkers, grab a boot, and collect donations! Red Shoe Day IV welcomes all volunteers who want to have a fun and fulfilling morning. We ask that all volunteers fill out a registration form in English or in Spanish. Please also complete a Liability Waiver.
