The Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle
For 15 years, the Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle has been more than a chance to win dream-worthy prizes — it’s been a lifeline for families at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House. Each ticket sold fuels lodging, meals, and support for parents staying close to their child during a medical crisis.
What began with a single red Ford Mustang in 2011 has grown into one of our most beloved and impactful charitable raffles, raising more than $4.7 million to date.
How It All Began
The very first car raffle featured a 2011 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible, with only 2,000 tickets available for $100 each. From that modest start, the raffle quickly gained momentum and interest, especially when the beautiful partnership with Hoehn Motors was formed in 2012. For the next 7 years we had the opportunity to present a Hoehn Motors Luxury Vehicle including new Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi Grand Prize vehicles!
In 2019, it was officially re-named the Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle in honor of our presenting sponsor, Hoehn Motors of Carlsbad, whose leadership and commitment to our San Diego Ronald McDonald House made the growth possible.
Through the years, the raffle has continued to evolve, offering increasingly exciting luxury vehicles and cash prizes that capture the imagination of our community while directly supporting families in need. There have been over 190 winners. Now in its 15th year, the 2025 Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle is already off to a strong start. In just the first week, more than 10% of tickets were sold!
This year’s raffle offers more than $160,000 in prizes to over 20 lucky winners, including the grand prize winner’s choice of a 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE 300, Audi RS3, or a 2026 Porsche Macan — or $80,000 cash.
Tickets in 2024 sold out before the final deadline — and 2025 is shaping up to be no different.
Why this Charitable Raffle Matters
Behind the luxury cars and prizes lies the true heart of this raffle: supporting families when they need it most. Proceeds from raffle ticket sales fund overnight stays, warm meals, and emotional support for parents and siblings staying at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House while their child receives critical medical care.
