Summer is the time for extra fun activities at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House. Children and parents recently embarked on a slime-making adventure, crafting their own one-of-a-kind jars of gooey fun. The vibrant colors and scents provided a delightful sensory change of pace for young patients, siblings, and their parents. Charms and glitter helped personalize their creations and could even represent their hopes and wishes.
Calling Craft Volunteers!
Families who are far from home for days, weeks, or even months due to a child’s hospitalization appreciate the opportunity to do volunteer-led arts and crafts.
If you would like to volunteer to bring craft activities for children and families at our House, please contact our team at volunteer@rmhcsd.org.
