What is the Red Shoe Crew?

Red Shoe Crew is a student-led outreach program that fosters leadership, empathy, and
community involvement by supporting San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House. Through
classroom activities and donation collection during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up,
students make a meaningful impact on families with hospitalized children.

How does Red Shoe Crew support San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House?

Every donation collected helps give families a place to escape the uncertainty and stress of the hospital — for a moment, for a meal, for a nap or a shower. Just steps from their child’s hospital bedside, families find comfort, vital care, and rest in their time of greatest need.

What is the mission of San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House?

Our House provides a “home-away-from-home” for families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals.
