Investment Giving Opportunities

Donor-Advised
Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House and other qualified charities.

Donate Through Your IRA
A Special Opportunity for Those 70½ Years Old and Older: You can give any amount (up to a maximum of $108,000) per year from your IRA directly.

Give Appreciated Securities
Donating publicly traded appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual fund shares, etc.) – that you have owned for more than a year and have gone up in value – may bring you great tax advantages while rebalancing your portfolio. Please consult your tax and/or legal advisor(s) when considering your gift.

Plan Your Legacy
Your thoughtfulness today becomes life-transforming care for tomorrow’s families. By making a gift in your estate plans, you create a lasting embrace of care and support – helping future families find strength and stay close at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House.

Donate Cryptocurrency
Donating cryptocurrency directly to the House is now as easy as making any other online gift, thanks to our partnership with The Giving Block.

Endowment Gifts
Endowment donations are invested gifts. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at the House. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.
