Thanks to the San Diego community, we are able to help families with a hospitalized child in many different ways. Whether it’s providing a room across the street from the hospital or serving three nourishing meals each day, our San Diego Ronald McDonald House offers a “home away from home” for countless families, when it matters most.

As students returned to school this fall, children whose families are staying at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House were welcomed to our on-site School Away From School. Through a partnership with the San Diego Unified School District, students ranging in age from transitional kindergarten to grade 12 are able to receive classroom instruction at the House.
