What a night! A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who supported the Oktoberfest-themed Dinner with Friends on October 11. What began years ago as a cozy dinner party hosted by friends Matt Teeter and Carlos Sanguinetti has grown into one of our most beloved annual traditions—bringing together friendship, fun, and philanthropy to support families with hospitalized children.
An Evening to Remember
Thanks to the incredible dedication of the Dinner with Friends Committee—Matt and Jen Teeter, Carlos and Shana Sanguinetti, Theresa Manalang, Tasha Le, and Jen Gramins—the event raised more than $113,000 in one night, pushing the 14-year total past the $1 million milestone!
This amazing achievement helps provide a “home away from home” at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House, giving families a comforting place to stay close to their hospitalized child, with meals, support, and community when it’s needed most.
Laughter, Lederhosen, and Lasting Impact
The Del Sur Ranch House was the perfect setting for this lively and heartwarming celebration. Guests arrived in high spirits and their best Oktoberfest flair—think lots of dirndls and lederhosen!
A delicious German-inspired feast and signature cocktails—courtesy of Title Sponsor Chef Joann & Co.—set the tone for a memorable evening. Friendly competition followed during the silent and live auctions, as guests bid on unique experiences and items, all to benefit our House.
When DJ Spicy Noodle hit the decks, the dance floor came alive—ending the night with joy and connection, all in support of families who need to stay close when it matters most.
Thank You for Making a Difference
We’re deeply grateful to our hosts, sponsors, volunteers, and guests who made this incredible evening possible. Events like Dinner with Friends turn good times into comfort and care for families, helping them find strength and hope during the most difficult moments of their lives.
