At Ronald McDonald Houses across the country, families find something simple but essential: a place to stay close and supported during their child’s medical crisis. Jeff Bekos of One Dad’s Mission is cycling thousands of miles to honor that mission—one House at a time.
Jeff recently stopped in San Diego after riding from Phoenix, part of the early stages of a two-year journey to visit every Ronald McDonald House in America.
His mission is deeply personal. In 2013, Jeff’s daughter, Hailey, spent 254 days fighting for her life with a rare disease. During that time, the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House became their family’s “home away from home.”
Today, Hailey is thriving, and Jeff and his wife, Liz, are honoring that experience by sharing gratitude with Houses and families across the country.
