You might not expect a lineup of fine bikes at the Ronald McDonald House, but that’s what we get thanks to PJ Byrne and the annual Poker Run. 148 motorcycle lovers gathered on June 5 at our House for a pre-ride breakfast, ride with poker card stops, and then lunch and after party celebration.
The Ronald McDonald House’s longtime friend PJ Byrne has organized this fundraiser for nine years now, with assistance this year by Arlis Travis.
Chopper the Biker Dog made a special appearance, along with his friend, Josiah. The boy and dog first met in 2012, when the Poker Run traveled to Josiah’s house to show support for this young Harley lover who is living with spina bifida.
