Red Shoe Day
Red Shoe Day is the largest volunteer-driven fundraiser for San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House. One morning, 1,500 yellow-shirted volunteers collect donations during drive time. They sing and dance to encourage commuters to put their spare dollars and change in Ronald’s size-14 shiny red shoes. Red Shoe Day is typically scheduled for June in San Diego County and October in Imperial Valley.
Annual Golf Tournament
Each year, supporters of San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House come together for a day of golf at one of our region’s top courses. Sponsorships and foursomes offer leading businesses the opportunity to make connections on the greens while supporting a much-loved cause in our community. The golf tournament takes place in September—October each year.
Founded in 2010, the ROMP has grown into one of San Diego’s premier annual events. Every fall ROMP delights guests with headline entertainment and gourmet dining in a festive upscale atmosphere. Business leaders and philanthropists show their support through table purchases and sponsorships. ROMP takes place in September—October each year.
