2015 ROMP Gala with David Cook

Talented and charismatic rocker David Cook capped the entertainment at this year’s ROMP to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego.

Now in its sixth year, this year’s ROMP transformed the Estancia La Jolla into an Argentinian dream, called “A Moment in Buenos Aires.” Open-air performances from Evita entertained 300 guests who then feasted on a gourmet dinner and bid generously at a live auction.

ROMP was co-chaired by artistic visionaries and longtime Ronald McDonald House supporters Steve and Rex Romande, pictured here with daughter Kingsley and ROMP founder, Mary Drake.

ROMP was also the final night of the annual Hoehn Motors Porsche Raffle. The grand prize 2016 Porsche Cayman or $50,000 cash was generously donated by Bill & Susan Hoehn of Hoehn Motors in Carlsbad.

Many thanks to the Romandes, the Event Committee, the Honorary Committee, Event Sponsors and attendees for making this a night to remember. This year’s magical ROMP and exceptional Car Raffle raised $525,000 to help care for families at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House.
