San Diego Cake Club members can do wonders with sugar and have hearts just as sweet. For the past six years, they’ve donated proceeds from their annual cake show to help families at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House.
The 33rd annual cake show, “Off to Neverland,” was held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds March 19-20, 2016. The event drew over 1,700 cake lovers for a cake decorating competition, demonstrations, celebrity chef appearances, decorating classes, and vendor booths.
This was their largest show to date, and they doubled their impact over the previous year: they donated a sweet $10,000 to help care for families at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House!
